Job Description:

Our Product Engineer will: Provide technical leadership and support for Product and Design Engineering tasks and projects in a team environment to ensure the timely and cost-effective completion of these activities to meet customer expectations. Evaluate hardware discrepancies to contract requirements and design integrity with the intent of determining proper technical disposition and justification to customer. Perform and review structural and mechanical analyses using computer software and standard engineering principles. Prepare and review technical reports for customer submittal and approval. Generate and maintain computer models and drawings of component parts and assemblies. Interface with customers, engineers, and other functional departments in support of engineering department objectives. Other engineering tasks and responsibilities as required. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience. Entry level to Senior candidates will be considered, salary commensurate with experience. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of stress analysis. Familiarity with engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing. Strong verbal and technical writing skills. Established leadership ability and skills. Experience with finite element analysis (ANSYS) preferred. Experience with Pro/E Creo CAD software preferred. Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance.
