Job Description:

NDT Engineer - BWX Technologies, Inc. - Euclid, OH

Provide NDT Engineering support for all hardware related to final product in our Euclid, Ohio facility.



Responsibilities:

Surveillance, oversight, monitoring and auditing of NDT inspection activities.
Write procedures and work instructions for VT, PT, MT, UT and RT inspection methods.
Train and qualify hourly NDT inspectors.
Liaison with customer and DCMA representatives.
Review supplier technical requirements and vendor procedures.
Compile and input data for various reports and metrics.
Perform radiographic film interpretation.
Other engineering tasks and responsibilities as required.



Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Entry level to senior level candidates will be considered. Salary commensurate with experience.
U.S. Citizenship. No dual citizenship.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance.
Ability to pass the VT, PT, MT UT and RT Level III (Examiner) qualification exams, after training.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to comprehend and present specification requirements.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Positive attitude and proactive approach to identifying and solving complex problems.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
SAP or TopSolid CAD experience.
Previous experience in defense, nuclear or aerospace industries.
