Job Description:
CNC Operator Location: Youngstown, OH Hours: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
shift available, preference given to candidates that have open
availability. Pay: $20/hour This is a contract to hire position
Description: Set up, operate, or tend CNC machines to mill, plane,
shape, groove, or profile metal or plastic work pieces. Duties:
Performs all assigned machine shop operations Regularly performs
milling, drilling, tapping, de-burring, sawing and sanding tasks
Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions
to management or designee Remove workpieces from machines, and
check to ensure that they conform to specifications, using
measuring instruments such as microscopes, gauges, calipers, and
micrometers. Move cutters or material manually or by turning
handwheels, or engage automatic feeding mechanisms to mill
workpieces to specifications. Maintains the work area and equipment
in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed Performs
inspection of machined products, and documents results Performs
other related duties as assigned. Skills/Qualifications: Previous
CNC Opereator experience Familiarity using micrometers and calipers
Ability to read and understand blueprints Willing to learn to
become proficient in operating applicable equipment Quality and
detail oriented Excellent mathematical skills Nesco Resource offers
