Job Description Job Description Job Title: Sr. Estimator Location: Chagrin Falls, OH Employment Type: Full-Time Key Responsibilities: Interpret and analyze blueprints and bid documents to prepare accurate job estimates. Perform quantity takeoffs for labor, equipment, and materials using software and manual methods. Solicit, review, and evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotations. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors. Collaborate with Project Management and Engineering teams to resolve inquiries. Perform additional duties as required to support company goals. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 7 years of experience in Estimating within the heavy construction industry. Proven expertise in takeoffs, especially in heavy construction and highway projects. Strong multitasking, organizational, and time-management skills. High attention to detail and accuracy under tight deadlines. Leadership skills and ability to work effectively within diverse teams. Prior experience with HCSS-Heavy Bid software is a plus. Thrives on precision, can manage complex projects, and is eager to contribute to the growth and success of a dynamic heavy civil construction environment.
