Working under general supervision, plan and carry out research
project in accordance with general plans. The Evaluation Data
Manager and Coordinator will support the evaluation of an Agency
for Healthcare Research and Quality funded Urinary Incontinence
project being conducted by University Hospitals. The Data Manager
and Coordinator will work closely with the co-leads of the
Evaluation team for the project in monitoring and managing the
qualitative and quantitative evaluation data collection and
analysis. They will be responsible for ensuring that data
collection efforts are being completed in a timely manner,
monitoring data quality, and actively collecting, analyzing, and
reporting evaluation results.
Plan and carry out process and outcome evaluation processes,
including the collection and analysis of interview, surveys,
implementation fidelity, and electronic medical record data in
accordance with general plans. Coordinate with partners at
University Hospitals to ensure the collection and transfer of
electronic health record data for analysis by the evaluation team.
Coordinate with the evaluation team to ensure timely completion of
evaluation activities. (30%) Lead and conduct qualitative
interviews with patients, providers, and other key stakeholders.
(15%) Collect and analyze qualitative interview, survey, and
implementation fidelity data to supply scientific information as
part of evaluation of the project. Manage research databases for
the evaluation team. (15%) May assist in developing improved
methods or procedures for the collection and analysis of evaluation
data to ensure the ability to provide evaluative responses
regularly throughout the project. (10%) Oversee supplies needed for
completion of evaluation activities. (7%) Assist with the
dissemination of evaluation results through reports, presentations
to stakeholders and at academic conferences. (10%) Direct the work
of students in the collection and analysis of evaluation data.
Attend evaluation team meetings, staff meetings at the Prevention
Research Center for Healthy Neighborhoods, and meetings with
University Hospital partners. (3%)
Perform other duties as assigned. (
Department: Daily contact with supervisor to discuss research and
maintain workflow. Regular interaction with other key personnel on
the Evaluation team to discuss activities and timelines.
University: Occasional contact with partners in the School of
Nursing to share information relevant to project dissemination
External: Moderate interaction with University Hospitals partners
to ensure timely collection of data and communication of

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and 1 to 3 years of
related experience or Associate's degree in a related field program
and 2 to 4 years of experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS -
Has knowledge of commonly-used evaluation and public health
concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on pre-established
guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Ability to conduct
appropriate analysis of interview data with qualitative software,
such as NVivo. Ability to conduct appropriate statistical analysis
of survey and fidelity data with data analysis software, such as
SPSS, R, of SAS. Experience with qualitative methodologies
including interview data collection and analysis. Experience with
quantitative survey data collection and analysis. Ability to meet
consistent attendance. Ability to collaboratively work with
colleagues, supervisors, and students face-to-face.
The employee will work in an office setting during regular business
hours (Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6
p.m.). Evening and weekend hours may be occasionally needed for
data collection or team meetings. This position may be eligible for
the staff hybrid work program upon approval.
