We are looking for a Director of IT Applications who can oversee the Data/BI team and the Salesforce CRM team, and provide strategic direction, innovation, and governance for our global application environment.













Overview









The Director of IT Applications will play a critical role in leading a team of direct reports, consultants, and technology vendors to provide a robust, global application environment to support Werner's ongoing business vitality and growth. The position will oversee the Data/BI team and the Salesforce CRM team at Pro Driven Global Brands. The position requires effective leadership, customer service skills, strategic global leadership, remaining innovative in design and staying abreast of all industry topics. This role will partner closely with multiple stakeholders across the business with departments like HR, Supply Chain, Operations, Legal, and Finance.













Responsibilities









IT Leadership

Lead the development and execution of technology plans related to BI and CRM, aligning them with business strategyDefine and govern the application architecture roadmap for non-ERP solutions, ensuring alignment with business strategy and managing technical debtParticipate in IT governance and workload prioritization, ensuring optimal resource allocation and project deliveryImprove and standardize processes for business analysis and requirements definition across application projects.Keep abreast of technology trends and best practices in areas of responsibility, and foster a culture of innovation and experimentation within your teamBuild strong relationships with business stakeholders across different units and locations, understanding their needs and expectations, and delivering solutions that add value and enhance user experienceBroad business application experience across most business department domains in a durable good manufacturer (e.g. Supply Chain, Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, HR, Legal, Finance, etc.)Manage or oversee vendor relationships for key vendors, ensuring quality, performance, and complianceChampion ProDriven values and work to continually improve IT department employee engagement. Lead the configuration, customization, integration, and administration of SalesForce CRM platformEnsure that CRM applications meet corporate objectives, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve business issuesGather, analyze, and define end-user requirements for CRM data access and usability in accordance with business objectivesAssist in the creation of long-term strategic goals for achieving and maintaining high customer satisfaction and loyalty through CRM solutionsDevelop and implement training programs, documentation, and best practices for CRM users Data/BI
Establish governance standards to ensure work is aligned with business objectives.Establish and enforce data quality standards, policies, and procedures across the organizationPromote data literacy and foster a data-driven culture within the business unitsImplement business case driven data science, advanced analytics, and AI solutions.Create and implement plans to improve AI Readiness across all technology platforms. Facilitate system feasibility studies, proof of concepts, pilot projects, and testing for new data technologies













Qualifications









Experience & Education:
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of relevant education and/or work experience will be considered.Master's degree or relevant work experience preferredAt least 5 years of experience in IT leadership roles, with proven track record of delivering complex BI and CRM projects in a global environmentExpertise in Salesforce CRM platform, specifically Service Cloud and Sales Cloud, including configuration, customization, integration, security, etc.Experience in Agile methodologies and practices, such as Scrum, Kanban, etc.Expertise in Data/BI technologies, such as Snowflake and PowerBIExcellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsAbility to think strategically, creatively, and holistically about business and technology challengesGlobal experience preferred; experience in multiple country deployment and multi-language deployment is a plusExperience with Cyber Security fundamentals is a plusExperience working with UKG or similar HRIS systems is a plus
