$2,150 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse -
Float Staffing Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 1900 - 0730 Hours per Shift: 36.00
Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent and relevant Emergency
Department experience License: Current licensure by the state Board
of Nursing Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Two years
of recent and relevant Emergency Department experience - BLS, ACLS,
and NIHSS certifications Description: Provides leadership in the
coordination and delivery of compassionate patient care. Utilizes
the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and
evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and
education for patients and families. Effectively communicates
pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team.
Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals
and ensures implementation of solutions. In a float position,
staffing is every 4 hours and may involve being pulled to the
Emergency Department and observation areas. Typical patient ratio
is a maximum of 1:6, with a Level 3 trauma capability. Demonstrates
clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate
effective nursing care plans within the assigned unit. Ability to
perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to
effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital
