Job Description DextroMedical is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a local contract nursing job in Akron, Ohio. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate MS/Tele RN for a night shift assignment at a reputable acute care facility in Akron, OH. This position is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care. Assignment Details: Shift: Nights, 36 hours/week Unit Type: 13-bed Med/Surg/Tele overflow unit Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:5 to 1:6 depending on patient acuity Floating: Required based on census and staffing needs Scheduling: Block scheduling permitted (maximum of 7 days RTO) Dress Code: Solid black scrubs Qualifications: Active RN license Minimum of 2 years recent experience in MS/Tele Charge RN experience preferred Phlebotomy experience within the past 12 months Recent EPIC charting experience required ACLS and BLS certifications (active) Degree from an ACEN or CCNE-accredited nursing program Strong Med/Surg foundation with telemetry capabilities Additional Information: Candidates must adhere to the RTO policy (no more than 7 days) Interviews are required; please include available interview dates/times with your application Local Pay Rate: $53.75/hour DextroMedical Job ID SUM-2485-LR.
