Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 18 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring recent Med/Surg Tele experience, an active OH or compact license, and strong recent Epic skills. Responsibilities - Work in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit - Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00pm to 7:30am - Patient care involves both medical-surgical and telemetry monitoring populations - Use of Epic EMR is required - Work every other holiday as part of the rotation - Must complete BCI/FBI fingerprinting onsite within 48 hours of signing contract - Negative 10-panel drug screen required within 12 months of start and updated annually - Annual and pre-start modules are required and tracked via Silkroad - PAPRs are not considered an alternative for caregivers with facial hair unless an approved exemption exists - Locals are accepted at the same bill rate - Former permanent or per diem staff cannot return for 1 year from previous end date - Facility maintains a strict Do Not Call policy - Holiday coverage is required as scheduled Requirements - Active RN license in Ohio or a compact state must be in hand - AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required and must be active - Minimum of 18 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience prior to travel is required - Recent (within the last 6 months) experience using Epic is required - At least one recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in Med/Surg Tele is required for consideration - Must successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-599904.
