Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A registered nurse with Med/Surg Telemetry experience is needed for a contract assignment in Medina, OH. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a hospital setting, working 12-hour rotating shifts to support patient care on a medical/surgical telemetry unit. Qualifications & Experience: Active Ohio Nursing License or Compact State License Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing prior to travel assignments At least 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience (travel experience accepted) Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety competencies will be assessed during orientation Ability to work at least every other holiday Comfortable with using electronic timekeeping systems for hour submission Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts per week (Day: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM or Night: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM) Rotating shifts may be necessary to meet hospital operational needs Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to med/surg telemetry patients Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient status promptly Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Adhere to hospital protocols, including safe medication administration and patient safety standards This position is contract-based and designed for experienced nurses ready to apply their Med/Surg Telemetry skills in a dynamic hospital environment.
