Schedule Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts, 7 PM - 7:30 AM Job Description The Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients in a telemetry unit. The role requires close monitoring of patients with cardiac issues and managing patient care needs. The nurse will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities - Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. - Assess and document patient conditions accurately. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care plans. - Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience. - Permanent Ohio license or compact state in hand. - BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS to be obtained prior to start. - References from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required. - Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation.
