Job Description Job Description Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1 years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Perform radiologic procedures under the direction of a Radiologist to evaluate pathological conditions as ordered by physicians. This role requires independent judgment in selecting proper radiographic techniques, patient positioning, and ensuring safety throughout the imaging process. Responsibilities include: Explaining examination procedures and preparing patients accordingly Reviewing clinical data and patient medical history to perform appropriate imaging Preparing procedure rooms and maintaining supplies such as linens and equipment Analyzing anatomical structures, manually controlling imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic information Administering intravenous contrast media if required, monitoring patients for adverse reactions, and providing immediate care if needed Demonstrating radiation protection principles to minimize exposure for patients and staff Following infection control standards and maintaining proper storage of sterile supplies Ensuring patient safety, privacy, confidentiality, and comfort during all procedures Completing all required documentation, logs, and records accurately Teaching and educating new staff and students when necessary while maintaining personal responsibilities Managing PACS by resolving image exceptions and confirming image quality and series counts Indexing studies in the Radiology Information System (RIS), including study begin/end times and completion status Collaborating with Radiologists on clinical protocols before studies Upholding team standards such as clear communication, timely responses, positive attitude, innovation, and respect for diversity Performing all necessary documentation to support clinical and billing activities Qualifications: Proven experience as a Radiology Technologist or similar position Proficient knowledge of radiographic techniques and safety protocols Ability to perform IV contrast administration and patient monitoring Familiarity with PACS and RIS systems Strong interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to patient care, confidentiality, and professional standards Location: This opportunity is based in Dearborn, Michigan, a city known for its rich cultural diversity and historic significance.
