Job Description Hunter Recruiting is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Cleveland, Ohio. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVOR - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, flexible - Employment Type: Travel The CVOR RN specializes in caring for patients undergoing cardiac and major vascular surgeries. These surgeries may include open-heart procedures, bypass surgeries, valve replacements, transplants, aneurysm repairs, and other complex cardiovascular operations. CVOR RN Key Responsibilities: - Perform preoperative assessments and verify patient identity, procedure, consent, allergies, and site/side marking. - Prepare the operating room with necessary supplies, equipment, implants, and instruments. - Coordinate communication among the surgical team, anesthesia, and support staff. - Maintain patient safety and advocate for proper positioning, padding, temperature regulation, and infection control.
