Job Description Job Description The Farmers Table is located in
downtown Medina, OH in the historic Farmer's Exchange Building and
is a rustic farm to fork restaurant & bar. Ideal candidate has at
least 5 -10 years of proven experience as a Chef in a full service
restaurant, has creativity, can develop their staff to be the best
they can be, team player that enjoys high volume, and can manage
food, labor costs through the use of reports. We offer flexible
schedules, medical, dental, vision and PTO plans. We are also
closed every major holiday including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day,
Mother's Day and Father's Day! Other Responsibilities Train and
develop kitchen staff who will uphold the standards of The Farmer’s
Table food quality, local and federal sanitation standards, culture
and environment. Menu Development and execution of daily restaurant
menu, and special events, monitoring and effectively planning for
specials and features Provides Leadership, Management and
Accountability for the back of house (BOH). Responsible for food
orders, working with purveyors and vendors to ensure best prices
and service. Responsible for managing food inventory reports and
appropriate levels, food costs and BOH labor costs in accordance
with company guidelines. Maintains a positive work culture that
will facilitate the overall success of the restaurant. Routinely
works all kitchen stations as needed to meet budget and quality
goals Ensures proper food handling procedures are followed at all
times per regulatory agency guidelines and company standard
operating procedures Maintains a clean & sanitary work/storage area
with regard to health dept. Monitor Opening, Closing and Line
checklists daily to ensure quality control Monitors ticket times
and food quality and addresses issues creates improvements Inspires
team members to perform at their highest level through ongoing
recognition of behaviors that align with core values. Maintain
ServSafe Certifications to the most current requirements and
implement these requirements throughout our operations We look
