Operate a Class A vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all federal, state, and local regulations and company policies. Manage delivery schedules and routes efficiently to ensure timely delivery of cargo. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure that the truck meets the safety standards. Report any issues or accidents to dispatch immediately. Maintain accurate records of driving logs, delivery documentation, and vehicle maintenance. Assist in loading and unloading cargo when necessary, ensuring that all handling meets safety and quality standards. Strong driving skills and familiarity with long-haul driving. Excellent time management to meet delivery schedules. Ability to navigate various electronic log and delivery systems. Good physical condition to handle cargo when required. Strong attention to detail for maintaining documentation and performing vehicle inspections.
