Job Description:
Quality Technician Located in Apple Creek, OH $18/hour with
performance increases 2nd shift (315p-145a, Mon-Fri) This is a
Direct Hire opportunity Duties/Responsibilities Conducting product
tests and using Quality Lab equipment to ensure conformance to
specifications in a timely manner. Using micrometers, dial
calipers, rulers, scales, and gages to perform first piece, in
process, and final inspections. Review blueprints and drawings.
Records data from test procedures and inspections (Microsoft Office
proficiency). Prepares formal Test Reports for distribution to
customers. Audits production process for quality compliance related
to production and customer requirements. Assures that operators are
placing labels on box properly and label information is correct.
Communicates with Quality Manager regarding non-routine quality
issues. Recognizes and properly identifies of out-of-spec materials
and products assuring rejected material is dispositioned correctly
and placed in proper location. Maintains a clean, safe work area.
Will be cross trained in other departments to help as needed.
Skills/Qualifications 1 or more year experience as a Quality
Technician within a manufacturing environment. Skilled in using
calipers and other gages or scales to inspect materials.
Experienced with reading blueprints or part drawings Proficient in
Microsoft Office High school diploma or equivalent Will be subject
to pre-employment drug and background screening. Company Benefits
