Control Compliance Technician is responsible for the issuing,
tracking, and retrieving of Schedule II-V controlled Substance
prescriptions from physicians.
for entering all Controls orders from the different folders to be
initial review by a Pharmacist.
for initiating contact with the facilities on prescriptions that
for initial contact and follow up calls to physician offices in
regards to scripts that requires a valid script.
- Follow up
with physicians for hard scripts to cover for verbal script that
was called for emergency.
- As required
by law, responsible for facilitating the signing of prescriptions
for review the control scripts before printing of prescriptions to
for receiving all signed prescriptions from the facilities and
reconcile it against the queue.
for ensuring all prescriptions received have been identified,
inputted and tracked in system.
- As per law
ensures all hard copies are appropriately filed and

graduate or equivalent required.
- National or
State Pharmacy Certification
- Must be very
familiar with control substance medication names.
computer knowledge skills required

years of experience working in a LTC Pharmacy or medical
