ID:19734Purpose: Support consumable product development and certification through prototype production and routine product performance evaluations using established procedures and work practices. Report to Consumable R&D Managers or their designees.JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES): Manufactures small batches of experiemental products, provides feedback on manufacturability to engineers and scientistsProvides technical support to engineers and scientists in areas such as operations, maintenance, safety, testing, process improvement or product development. Uses schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions or defined plans to perform testing and troubleshooting on electronic or mechanical components, equipment or systems. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles and manipulates technical data using established formulae and procedures and performs detailed mathematical calculations.Conducts and documents a variety of standardized tests; prepares routine test specimens using established procedures and/or drawings; sets up and operates standard test equipment; records test dataResponsible for executing work in accordance with instructions providedPerforms additional tasks as required by engineers or supervisor Responsible for the safe operation, cleanliness and routine maintenance of all assigned laboratory equipmentAssumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company's 2025 Strategy.BASIC REQUIREMENTS:Vocational Training and 3+ years experience required; or GED with 5+ years in related field.
