Shift Premiums: 2nd shift = $0.90, 3rd shift = $0.80

Perform inspection of complex castings, forgings, and in-process
and completed product to verify conformance to requirements.
Accurately document nonconformance's that are found during
Accurately record all data as required on records, logs, data
sheets, routings, sketches, and reworks.
Perform first piece inspection to verify that manufacturing process
meets blueprint specifications.
Be able to work from written procedures, operation sketches,
blueprints, assembly prints, routings, and reworks.
Must be able to accurately use a wide variety of complex inspection
devices such as plates, comparators, verniers, jo-blocks, snap
gages, mics, and electronic indicators.
Perform necessary mathematical calculations to validate/verify
dimensional relationship and accuracy.
Must have the ability to work an off shift (2nd shift: 3:00pm to
11:00pm and/or 3rd shift: 11pm to 7am)
Must have the ability to pass the Alloy Identity Certification.
Must have the ability to be certified for the walky stacker and be
able to use a hoist.
Must have two (2) years inspection experience.
Apply basic math skills.
Have thorough understanding of ANSI Y14.5.
Read and interpret blueprints and operational sketches.
Possess skills necessary to interpret and follow operating
Possess skills necessary to maintain accurate documentation of
Possess sufficient computer skills.
Pass all applicable visual/dimensional written and operational
Use a variety of complex inspection gages.
Meet required vision standards.
Have a high school diploma or GED equivalence.
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly
required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach
with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk.
The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch,
crawl and talk to hear. The employee is occasionally required to
lift and/or move up to 25lbs. Specific vision abilities required by
this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
exposed to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals, and
fumes or airborne particles. The noise lever in the work
environment ranges from normal levels to loud.
