Job Description:
Safety Monitor Part-time Year-Round, 20-23 hours per week
Euclid Public Library has an immediate opening for an enthusiastic,
diplomatic, and friendly addition to our team. The successful
applicant must have the ability to develop a rapport with all our
patrons, to organize work and multi-task, and to work well under
pressure. The ideal candidates will have excellent verbal and
written communication skills, be able to engage with patrons and
staff in a personable and professional manner, and de-escalate
heightened situations. This position will require frequent physical
activity that includes walking throughout the library building.
Qualifications: High school diploma required, or an equivalent
combination of education, training with an Associate's degree
preferred. Public library experience and/or experience working with
young adults and children preferred.
