Follow us on Twitter at @BWXT and learn more at www.bwxt.com.Master SchedulerWe are hiring a Master Scheduler to join our Nuclear Operations Group!The Master Scheduler will:Schedule work through various work cells to support the manufacture of multiple-piece assemblies.Develop throughput plans to maintain component milestones and stocking dates.Actively lead daily and weekly scheduling meetings and coordinate priorities between shared resources supporting company leadership and manufacturing personnel.Develop daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly schedules by machine center to meet volume and schedule requirements.Track, monitor, and report key components through the shop, escalating as appropriate.Coordinate the movement of product and pertinent paperwork and instructions between the shop, storage and engineering to support upcoming operations.Identify the need for, and ensure availability of all material, tooling, and software needed to complete upcoming operations without delay.Daily use SAP, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook and custom computer applications.Participate on lean six sigma teams for continued process innovation and improvement.Communicate and collaborate with a variety of departments to audit and improve production plans.Support the shop by identifying resource bottlenecks.Develop and provide scheduling metrics.Preferred Qualifications:Two (2) years in production planning, Inventory Control, or Scheduling.Entry level to Senior candidates will be considered, salary commensurate with experience.Bachelor's degree with business-related major or equivalent experience.Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.Preferred experience in SAP, PP/DS and EVM.Able to work well independently and with internal and external customers.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.High energy, well organized, able to multi-task and capable of planning ahead.Work with shop floor Front Line Managers to schedule work and manpower to best suit throughput requirements.As a federal government contractor, BWX Technologies, Inc. and any subsidiaries, affiliates and related entities ("BWXT" or the "Company") complies with all federal, state, and local laws and customer requirements regarding COVID-19 and other health and safety protocols.
