Company, headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio is adding a PCB Designer
to our R&D team. This role will support design and layout of
printed circuit boards. Duties include PCB design, layout
documentation, and library management. This is an outstanding
opportunity to join a leader in the welding equipment
industry.ResponsibilitiesCreate new printed circuit board layouts
and revise existing printed circuit board layouts.Create schematic
symbols and footprints from component datasheetsCheck footprints
against manufacturer recommendations and IPC
specificationsMaintain, update, and synchronize part databases in
ECAD and PLM softwareCreate new electronic schematics and revise
existing electronic schematicsWork with Machine R & D and
Manufacturing during the design process to assure that designs are
manufacturableAssumes additional responsibilities as needed or
directed in support of the Company's 2025
StrategyRequirementsBachelor's in Electrical Engineering Technology
OR any combination of education and relevant work experience3+
years of professional experience with PCB layout and routingPCB
Design experience in analog, mixed, high speed and high voltage
boardsExperience with library configuration managementWorking
knowledge of IPC standards and design for manufacturing
guidelinesExcellent communication and organization skills; deadline
driven and able to work in a fast paced environmentAbility to work
both independently and as part of a teamPreferred3+ years of
professional experience creating and maintaining symbols and
footprints for PCB librariesMentor Graphics software experience
preferredIPC Certification is a plusQualified applicants will
