Job Description:
As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will support the Automotive Coatings unit responsible for testing and approval of incoming materials, as well as, finished goods sampling and approval. Both processes involve sample preparation and performing specification testing.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain batch logs, data entry and lab notes.
Testing for wet chemistry properties such as: pH, Viscosity, Density, Acid/Base Titration, etc.
Perform troubleshooting activities as it relates to batch issues.
Set-up laboratory equipment and calibration of equipment and 5S responsibilities.

Qualifications:
H.S. Diploma or equivalent with strong math skills and basic chemistry preferred, with any lab or quality experience preferred.
Experience with Excel (Basic-some data entry. should be comfortable with basic navigating and Excel functions) and digital literacy aptitude vital.
Oral and written communication skills should be well developed along with proven problem solving ability.
Must be well organized and able to self-direct daily activities.
Must be willing to work Second Shift (10:00am to 6:30pm, M-F)

Schedule:
Training - 1st shift 8am-4:30pm for 3+ weeks
Afterwards, will work the typical 10am-6:30pm M-F
