Job Description:

As the Maintenance Technician you would be responsible for keeping machines and building in proper working condition.

Duties/Responsibilities

• 
  
• Perform routine building maintenance, for example, painting, changing lights, cleaning, plumbing
  
• Fixing potential safety hazards.
  
• Applies Preventative Maintenance measures to buildings and equipment.
  
• Responsible for repairing equipment as needed.
  
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
  
• Fabricates parts when needed.
  
• Responsible for keeping shop and warehouse floors clean and orderly.
  
• Also responsible for maintaining and lubricating all equipment.
  
• Lift truck preventative maintenance performed 2x/year
  
• Monthly inspections of Ladders and Fire Extinguishers.
  
• Prepares buildings for winter and summer.
  
• Reports to Supervisor issues that require outside services.
  
  
  
  Pay and Shift info
  
  
  • 
    
  • Starting pay is $25-$30/hr based on experience
    
  • 1 st shift 6:00am 4:30pm, Monday-Thursday
    
  • Availability to work OT on Friday when needed.
    
  • Temp to Hire opportunity with the company.
    
    
    Skills/Qualifications
    
    
    • 
      
    • 2 years previous experience in mechanical repairs.
      
    • Must be able to lift 50 lbs independently and stand for up to 10-hour shift.
      
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
      
    • Able to read blueprints and use inspection tools. Must be able to do basic math.
      
    • Will be subject to a pre-employment screening.
