Assembly & Test Inventory Specialist - BWX Technologies, Inc. - Euclid, OH
Manage inventory and product flow for BWXT NOG-E Assembly and Test Operations.
Responsibilities:



  • Prepare material releases and stage Work In Progress for A&T operations.


  • Maintain stocked A&T production hardware in Modula storage system, on racks and pallets.


  • Pull and issue components for production orders released at A&T.


  • Create routing packages and release production orders.


  • Coordinate and facilitate Inventory Transfer Authorizations (ITAs) associated with A&T.


  • Maintain inventory of Government Furnished Equipment, tracking, storage, and shipping process at A&T.


  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments at the A&T dock.


  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of A&T dock and crib.


  • Perform SAP transactions in support of production orders.


  • Coordinate material flow with the main facility.


    Minimum Qualifications:


    • High School diploma or GED equivalency.


    • 2 years' minimum experience with material moving equipment (tow motors, lifts, stand up machines, pallet jacks).


    • Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.


    • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance.


    • U.S. Citenship required. No dual citizenship.


      Preferred Qualifications:


      • 4 years' minimum relevant inventory experience.


      • SAP experience.


        Working Conditions:
        Clean, precision assembly environment. This is a first shift position, but must be able to work any shift depending on business need. Some daily and weekend overtime is required to support assembly and testing schedules. The position involves frequent periods of walking throughout the process centers. Elevated work platforms and pits require the ability to navigate ladders and stairs. Frequent need to give close attention to work performed. Occasional lifting is required.
