Will work closely with our planners and schedulers to optimize product flow within each department and across the manufacturing facility.Responsibilities:Create high level business production plans (forecast; 2+ years out)Develop capacity planning data and information tools for operations review and support.Provide early identification of manpower and work center constraints both short and long-term.Construct various scenarios of current and future contract proposals supporting business objectives.Manage and communicate high level production plans to PMO and Program planners to better facilitate day to day operations supporting contract deliverables.Communicate overall project health to management and PMO.Re-direct program planner and scheduling objectives as necessary based on overall performance and unforeseen constraints.Integrate A&T into production schedules and provide loadboards with part/operation detail.Provide hour's analysis supporting NOG-E loadboard generation and verification.Preferred QualificationsFive (5) years in production planning, Inventory Control, and/or Scheduling.Bachelor's degree with business-related major or equivalent experience.Self-starter with excellent communication skills.SAP-PP/DS or similar MRP system, ProModel, EVM experience a plus.As a federal government contractor, BWX Technologies, Inc. and any subsidiaries, affiliates and related entities ("BWXT" or the "Company") complies with all federal, state, and local laws and customer requirements regarding COVID-19 and other health and safety protocols.
