Opus IVS offers modern collision shops an integrated platform of leading diagnostics and calibration solutions, anchored by expert technicians and cutting edge, patented technology.Position SummaryThe Quality Technician will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and evaluating products and processes to ensure compliance with company and industry quality standards. This role plays a key part in identifying defects, improving quality systems, and maintaining customer satisfaction.Responsibilities:

• Perform in-process, incoming, and final inspections on electronic components and assemblies using inspection tools and test equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Conduct functional and visual inspections in accordance with IPC standards (e.g., IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620).
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Operate and maintain test and measurement equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, micrometers, and calipers.
• Identify and document nonconformities, assist in root cause analysis, and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection results, test data, and quality documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.Requirements:Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification in electronics or quality assurance preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or electronics environment.
  • Working knowledge of quality inspection methods, tools, and standards.
  • Familiarity with ESD-safe practices and cleanroom protocols.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with NetSuite a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be able to work overtime as required.WHAT WE OFFER:
