SummaryThe Quality Technician will be responsible for inspecting,
testing, and evaluating products and processes to ensure compliance
with company and industry quality standards. This role plays a key
part in identifying defects, improving quality systems, and
maintaining customer satisfaction.Responsibilities:
- Perform in-process, incoming, and final inspections on
electronic components and assemblies using inspection tools and
test equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical
drawings.
- Conduct functional and visual inspections in accordance with
IPC standards (e.g., IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620).
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to
resolve quality issues and implement continuous improvement
initiatives.
- Operate and maintain test and measurement equipment such as
multimeters, oscilloscopes, micrometers, and calipers.
- Identify and document nonconformities, assist in root cause
analysis, and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection results, test data, and
quality documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.Requirements:Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or
technical certification in electronics or quality assurance
preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or electronics
environment.
- Working knowledge of quality inspection methods, tools, and
standards.
- Familiarity with ESD-safe practices and cleanroom
protocols.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience
with NetSuite a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and
problem-solving abilities.
- Must be able to work overtime as required.WHAT WE OFFER:
