Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-- Coordinate and oversee production and maintenance activities to meet or exceed customer requirements.-- Provide clear guidance and direction to production employees, ensuring they are informed of job-related matters and expectations.-- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and documentation to maintain consistent and compliant manufacturing processes.-- Support continuous improvement initiatives in quality, productivity, and delivery performance.-- Address environmental, health, and safety issues promptly and consistently.-- Collaborate with Human Resources to manage employee relations matters as they arise.-- Monitor adherence to policies and procedures, providing coaching, counseling, and discipline as needed.-- Establish and manage work schedules, including interviewing and recommending new hires as required.-- Review and approve employee timecards for bi-weekly payroll processing.-- Distribute Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and tools as necessary.-- Evaluate employee performance and provide recommendations for improvement to the Operations Manager.-- Facilitate communication and coordination between departments and support functions.-- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, coordinating cleanups as needed.-- Attend production meetings as required.-- Perform other duties as assigned.GENERAL SKILLS-- Demonstrate an understanding of and adhere to all policies and procedures.---- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with, motivate, and communicate with employees, customers, and vendors.-- Strong leadership skills required in a manufacturing environment-- Act in a professional manner as a representative of the Company.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE-- High school diploma or equivalent required.-- Minimum 3 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment required.QUALIFICATIONS-- Knowledge and hands-on experience in organizational effectiveness, lean manufacturing practices and operations management required.-- Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, prioritize and execute work activities.-- Computer Skills. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), ERP software.-- Must be effective at resolving problems and handling stressful situations in a professional manner.-- Must possess excellent persuasion and negotiation skills.-- Must be self-disciplined and team oriented.We are an equal opportunity employer.
